Privacy Policy.
Elena Global LLC (“we”, “us” or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or work with us, how we use and protect it, and what choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Information you give us
Your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, billing details and anything else you share with us by email, in a proposal, during a call or when you become a client.
Usage data
Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay and how you arrived at our website. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).
Client data
When you work with us, we may receive access to accounts and data needed to deliver our services — for example your store platform, subscription, payment, helpdesk or advertising accounts (such as Shopify, Meta or AppLovin). We only use this access to perform the work agreed in our contract with you.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- deliver, manage and improve our operations and marketing services;
- reply to your questions and send you information you asked for;
- send proposals, updates and occasional marketing emails — you can unsubscribe at any time;
- understand how our website is used and make it better;
- handle invoicing and administration;
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We only share it when needed:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, analytics, email, communication and accounting tools. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Platforms and partners we work with to deliver services you have contracted us for.
- Authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
- A buyer or successor if our business is ever sold or merged; this policy would continue to apply to your data.
Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect your data when it is transferred.
4. Cookies & tracking
Our website may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to keep the site working, measure visits and improve performance. These may record your IP address, device and browser information and the pages you view. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then work less well. Where the law requires your consent for non-essential cookies, we will ask for it first.
5. Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or as long as required for legal, tax and accounting reasons. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or limit certain uses, including direct marketing;
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email us at info@elena-agency.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.
7. California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:
- know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, where they come from, why we collect them and with whom we share them;
- request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, as those terms are defined in California law;
- not be treated differently for using any of these rights.
In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers (such as name, email and IP address), commercial information, internet activity information and professional information, for the purposes in section 2, and shared them with the categories of recipients in section 3. To make a request, email info@elena-agency.com with the subject “California Privacy Request”. You may also use an authorised agent, subject to verification.
8. Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links to other websites
Our website may link to websites of other companies. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their privacy policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top showing when it was last updated.
